Registration

2011-2012 Registration and Enrollment Procedures

We are going to schedule two programs for the 2011-2012 school year.  This will enable us to provide two separate curriculums. 

  • Curriculum 1 will expand on this year's progress and prepare your child for kindergarten. 

  • Curriculum 2 will focus on encouraging your child to want to come to school. 

Preschool Schedule

Curriculum 1:  Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 4-5 year olds**

Curriculum 2:  Tuesday, Thursday: 3-4 year olds*

* Students must be 3 years old by the start of the school year and potty trained

** Students must be 4 years old by the start of the school year

We understand that for 5 or 4 day programs, there will be curriculum overlaps.  With our small class sizes we will be able to accommodate and cater to your child's developmental needs.

Registration Dates

Please register by the following dates:

Returning Students:  no later than March 18, 2011

Sibling/Alumni: no later than March 25, 2011

New Families: see registration priority and registration dates and notification

Please return the 2011-2012 Registration and Enrollment Form with the registration fee no later than on the last day of your registration date. 

If your child is placed on a wait list, your registration fee will be refunded.

Registration Priority

Enrollment priority is the following:

  1. Returning Students

  2. Sibling Alumni

  3. New Families

Classes will be filled in the following order: 5 day, 4 day, 3 day and 2 day in order of priority.

Registration fee is non-refundable once enrolled in the class.

Wait List

A wait list will be started when a curriculum is full.  If a family is offered a spot, they have the following options:

  1. Accept a spot in the class

  2. Decline and be removed from the wait list

Families have 48 hours to make a decision regarding their spot.

Registration Dates and Notification

Returning Students

  • No later than Friday March 18, 2011: Registration form and fee submitted.

  • Monday March 21, 2011: Notification of enrollment.

Sibling Alumni

  • No Later than Friday March 25, 2011: Registration form and fee submitted.

  • Monday March 28, 2011: Notification of enrollment or waiting list status.

New Families

  • Ongoing: Registration form and fee submitted notification of enrollment or waiting list status after March 28, 2011.

After care

After care will be provided on a TBD schedule.  Please call to discuss options.

Payment

Monthly payments are due on the 1st of each month or a late fee of $25.00 will be assessed.  Payment can be cash or check.

Open House

We will be hosting an open house at the Mary Elizabeth Center and Preschool Friday April 15, 2011 .  This will be a great opportunity to meet the teachers, see the preschool and answer any of your questions or concerns.
